Hi, I'm Andy Hawthorne, an old blogger from Coventry, England.

I write a lot. I'm an indie author and a Substacker. But I created this blog for a blast of ordinary life.

I'm 61 years-old now. An old fart. But, I'm not obsolete, yet. I can still do things. There are things that fascinate me. Things that baffle me. And yeah, things that annoy me.

I built this blog to write about those things. But with no bullshit. It'll be true. As best as I can tell it. I'm old and opinionated (and grumpy, my granddaughter tells me) but I (and she) wouldn't have it any other way.
